Waiting Room

Life with Jesus is U p s i d e D o w n!

(One of the BEST books in the whole world will forever be The Bible, in my factpinion? Haha). In the book of Job, you will learn that Job was a faithful servant and devoted himself to God, relentlessly! Along with all the blessings that God generously showered Job with, you will later find out that the same God, allowed (not caused), evil to come into his life that looked like: famine, substantial amount of loss, death of his family, lost possessions; betrayal from his friends and wife. In spite of the devil’s plans that manifested in Job’s life, he stayed locked in with the Creator, holding on to steadfastness ( unwavering, devoted, committed and faithful)! At the end of Job’s life, the Bible not only tells about Job’s endurance, but we see God’s faithfulness and His power in restoration.

After saying yes to God’s will are you finding yourself feeling a lot like Job, experiencing losses of a job, family member, relationships or possessions with not being able to control the situation?

James 5:11 (ESV)

“Behold, we consider those blessed who remain steadfast. You have heard of the steadfast of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord is compassionate and merciful.”

In the waiting room, the feeling of despair, discouragement and depression hits the hardest, when it seems like God is not working and your life is not progressing. It’s okay, you are not alone! This is a reminder you that we serve a BIG, approachable and ever present God. The BEST thing to do to stay connected in God’s presence, is worship, reading The Word consistently and live in EXPECTANCY! Psalm 37:7

The best is yet to come.

DO NOT GIVE UP. 🙂

 blessings on blessings,

DL
